The shop is located outside Williamsport in north-central Pennsylvania. We regularly serve clients throughout Pennsylvania, the DMV, New York and surrounding areas, and consider projects throughout the greater Northeast.
Custom means built for the project down to the most minute increment, rather than adapted from a standard product line. Cabinet dimensions, door styles, moldings, wood species, finishes, drawer configurations and architectural details can all be tailored to the space, including matching existing woodwork or accommodating unusual conditions.
Yes. We regularly work from architectural drawings and specifications and collaborate directly with architects, designers, builders and other members of the project team. We also produce my our own detailed AutoCAD shop drawings before fabrication.
The earlier, the better, ideally while there is still time to work through design, materials and hardware. You don’t need finished plans or even a fully formed idea. We can work from architectural drawings, an initial concept or help guide the process from the beginning.
We bring the practical realities of construction to the design. Will the doors open properly? Can the cabinetry physically get into the room? Will the space function as intended? Is it structurally sound? The goal is to preserve the design vision while making sure it works in the real world.
Plans tell us what was intended; field measurements tell us what is actually there. We measure the finished space and account for walls, floors, ceilings, access, stairs, doorways and other site conditions that affect how a piece should be built, delivered and installed.
We use soft close undermount drawer slides and soft close hinges exclusively. Additional high quality hardware from Häfele, Hettich, Blum and other sources are used when called for.
Fabrication typically takes 6–12 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project and current production schedule. We generally book several months ahead, so early conversations allow time to finalize drawings, materials, hardware and other details before fabrication begins.
We can provide an initial estimate from architectural drawings or preliminary project information. Final pricing is based on the approved design, materials and hardware selections, with any later additions or changes priced accordingly.
Delivery is included and coordinated with the builder or general contractor when applicable. Installation is typically handled by the project’s installer or contractor. We can often make arrangements to install certain projects when needed.
